EN: This fountain is located on a square in the center of the old town of Rheinfelden. The fountain is made of sandstone. The square basin is bevelled on one side. The octagonal fountain column is decorated with a stone ball. On the front, the column is dated and includes a mask that formerly served as the spout. Today the fountain tube is attached below.
DE: Dieser Brunnen befindet sich an einem Platz im Zentrum der Altstadt von Rheinfelden. Der Brunnen ist aus Sandstein. Der viereckige Trog ist an einer Seite abgeschrägt. Der Brunnenstock ist achteckig und mit einer Steinkugel dekoriert. Auf der Vorderseite ist der Stock datiert und enthält eine Maske, die wohl früher als Ausguss diente. Heute ist die Brunnenröhre weiter unten angebracht.
