The former Western Australian Bank building was constructed in the Federation Free Classical style in 1904 and was used as a bank until 1929. From 1956 to the present the building has been used for police purposes.
Originally there was a balcony and verandah on the first floor, the bank managers quarters,meanwhile the banking chamber occupied the ground floor
