This former water tower is also a survey benchmark, which first got my attention and is very visible along the Pacific Highway. The National Geodetic Survey datasheet mentions that this water tower replaced a previous water tower at this site in 1946.

This converted water tower now functions as a home and is being rented out as a vacation rental.
