Description: Les oeuvres de Suzor-Coté obtiennent la faveur des collectionneurs et lui valent plusieurs prix. Cet artiste déjà célèbre de son vivant - une exposition rétrospective présente son oeuvre en 1929 - acquiert rapidement une renommée internationale et expose fréquemment au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe, notamment au Salon de la Société des artistes français et à l'Académie royale des arts du Canada, dont il devient membre associé. Atteint de paralysie à partir de 1927, il cesse ses activités artistiques et s'installe à Daytona Beach, en Floride, deux ans plus tard.
The works of Suzor-Coté get the favor of collectors and earned him several awards. This already famous artist in his lifetime - a retrospective exhibition presents his work in 1929 - quickly gained international fame and frequently exhibited in Canada, the US and Europe, including the Salon of the French Artists Society and the Academy Royal of arts, where he became an associate member. Paralyzed in 1927, ceases his artistic activities and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, two years later.
