The chimney was built in the first half of the twentieth century and belonged to an on-site horticultural business of the family de Koning. This company specialized in vegetable growing. The Roomburgerpolder in which the parcel is located, has long been used as a garden and farmland. Some of it belonged to the former medieval convent Roomburg and Roman Castellum Matilo.
Chimney, tapered, cemented in light clack laying brick. The top of the chimney is sober ornamented with a masonry bond. To strengthen six metal bands are arranged. By the chimney, there is a square foundation, which is a remnant of the former boiler room.
