The children of several local daycare centers in Stuttgart-West decorated this public restroom located at the Bismarckplatz with a colorful mosaic in the year 2003. They called the project Kunststücke, which is a play on words: it translates to Pieces of Art, therefore referring to the pieces forming the mosaic.
The city of Stuttgart as operator of the public restroom supported the creation as well as some local companies who donated the necessary material.
