"Fossilised Rock Tertiary Conglomerate 40 million years old"
Another sign states:
"Siliceous Tertiary Gravel: Baron Von Ettinghausen in his major work on tertiary flora in Australia (published 1888) f..s of this type found at Dalton and described them as being of the tertiary, probably Eocene Age, 40-60 million years old. The common genus appearing is referred to as 'Cinnamomum Flora.' Illustrated are some of the flora visible on the rock".
