A street crossing sign at the intersection of College and N Gilmer Streets on the Hopkins County Courthouse square will look familiar to fans of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

The sign is about the same size as your standard crossing sign, but it is square, mostly blue with white trim. Inside a white triangle is a crosswalk, with the profile of John Cleese, wearing a derby, holding a briefcase, and caught while doing a very silly walk. The Ministry of Silly Walks sketch was in the first episode of the second series of Monty Python's Flying Circus, back in 1970. (visit link)
