The statue is a five ton, life-sized welded steel sculpture that is comprised of strips of Cor-ten steel and rods that are fused into each other to give the elephant its form. The steel armature supports are intentionally visible and act as the anchoring points in the legs.
Gift of Isabell and Max Herzstein.
