[DE] Am Les-Noes-Platz 1 in Urmitz befindet sich das Rathaus. Parkmöglichkeiten für die Besucher des Rathauses befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Das Rathaus wurde Stein auf Stein erbaut und besteht aus zwei Stockwerken und einem ausgebauten Dachgeschoss. Alle Fenster des Gebäudes besitzen Sprossenfenster, was für eine schöne Optik sorgt. Auf dem Dach des Rathauses befindet sich ausserdem noch eine Sirene.
Die Gemeinde Urmitz liegt direkt am Rhein, zwischen Andernach und Koblenz, auf jeder Landkarte dieser Gegend leicht durch das `Urmitzer Werth´ und die Eisenbahnbrücke zu finden.
Wirtschaftlich betrachtet hebt sich Urmitz besonders durch seinen sehr stark wachsenden Gewerbeanteil hervor, begünstigt durch seine Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Gewerbegebieten der Städte Koblenz, Mülheim-Kärlich, Weißenthurm, Andernach und Neuwied. Besonders nennenswert sind das rege Vereinsleben und die traditionellen Feiern und Feste im Ortskern. Ein Höhepunkt ist jedes Jahr die große St.-Georg-Kirmes, meist am letzen Wochenende im April.
[EN] At Les Noes-Square 1 in Urmitz is the town hall. Parking for the visitors of the town hall are located in the immediate vicinity.
The town hall was built stone on stone and consists of two storeys and an attic. All windows of the building have lattice windows, which makes for a nice visual effect. On the roof of the town hall there is also still a siren.
The municipality Urmitz is located directly on the Rhine between Andernach and Koblenz, on any map of the area easily by the `Urmitzer Werth' and find the railway bridge.
