About the person: "Reider's career began in 1965 with the Arvin Union School District as a teacher. He became principal and assistant superintendent, and later an interim superintendent of the Richland School District.

Reider joined the Kern County Superintendent of Schools office in 1984 as an administration consultant, then was district advisory director, administration and finance administrator, and associate superintendent. He became Kern County superintendent with the retirement of Kelly Blanton in 1999." (visit link)
