The Arbaugh Covered Bridge is the oldest of Vinton County's five remaining covred bridges.

The Arbaugh Covered Bridge is also known as Aikens, Eakins Mil, McLaughlin Bridge, or Geer's Mill Bridge. It is 111 feet long and cost $800 to build in 1871. It was closed to vehicular traffic for a short time, but was recently reopened after renovations.
