The reinforced concrete slab, cantilever bridge over Deepwater Creek (just outside of Deepwater) has two bronze date plaques for the construction of it in 1950, by the Department of Main Roads.

This is a two-lane concrete bridge on the New England Highway, on the Northern Tablelands of NSW, at an elevation of about 970m. It is about 40km north of Glen Innes.
The concrete slabs lie on parallel large steel "I" beams. These are then supported by rectangular concrete pillars, with joining concrete boxes. There is also cast concrete side rails for the deck of the bridge.
The above coordinates are for the plaque on the northern end, western side; with another plaque on the southern end, eastern side.
