Whakarewarewa Forest is just a few minute’s ride from central Rotorua, and the forest’s 100+km of single-track is renowned as offering some of the best mountain biking in the world.
The Utility Box near the junction of Selwyn Road and Tarawera Road has been painted appropriately with a scene of bike riders on the forest trails with Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island in the background.
