There's a historic hand operated sluice gate at the 'Fischergasse', located in the historic 'Fischerviertel' in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
In the historical 'Fischerviertel' can be found many documents over a large number of craft industries along the 'Blau' river. The sluice gates had many different uses, for example, for fishing, tanners, laundry and dyeing, which required all an enormous amount of water.
