It is a adventure to come to this place. Driving with the car oder cycle along the very small death end road, having wonderful views,... a park lot we could find at the Outdoor Altar and walked down to the church, there it is very mystic,.... the churchyard around as well, take some time and enjoy.

Die Katholische Pfarrkirche „St. Nikolaus“ in Vischel war einst die zentrale Kirche für die umliegenden Orte – bis diese ihre eigenen Kirchen bekamen. Im Jahr 1904 wurde der Anbau einer Grabkapelle an die katholische Pfarrkirche "St. Nikolaus" Vischel für den zwei Jahre zuvor verstorbenen Reichsgrafen Dietrich Wolf Metternich fertiggestellt.Gleich neben der Kirche befindet sich der Friedhof mit Kriegsopfer-Denkmal.
