A two-sided granite monument was erected by the Atlantic Chief and Petty Officers Association of Canada to honor those lost during the Battle of the Atlantic.

The front of the monument is inscribed:

SHIPS AND MEN OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY
WHO FAILED TO RETURN THROUGH ENEMY ACTION,
STRESS OF WEATHER AND ACCIDENTS DURING

AND TO REMIND FUTURE GENERATIONS OF
