All Saints Church of England, Newtown was erected in 1862, in the Early English gothic style of bluestone.The foundation stone was laid on the 20th June 1862 and the opening Ceremony was on 11th March 1863. The Church was extended by the construction of the side chapel (1728) and north transept (1962 )
