Monumental palace-type late-Baroque Town Hall, located in the main public space of town Cáslav - Jan Žižka of Trocnov Square (Námestí Jana Žižky z Trocnova), belongs without any doubts among the most beautiful buildings in the town.
Baroque Town Hall was built according to the project of architect Jan Josef Wirch in 1769-1770 and slightly modified during the 19th century. Towh Hall is a palatial two-storey building with a mansard roof. Amid the front facade, above the entrance portal with balcony, is a two-storey niche with columns at the sides and with town's coat of arms in its semi-apse vault. On the roof, above the niche, is a clock turret with a cupola.
