Monumental neo-Romanesque Evangelic Church (Evangelický kostel), built in 1864–1869, is from a far visible key element of the town Caslav skyline.
Evangelic Church in Caslav, a neo-Romanesque three-nave hall structure with polygonal presbytery and slender belfry in the axe of church's eastern front facade, was designed and built by architect František Schmoranz. Church was built at the site of medieval Franciscan convent, burnt down during Hussite Wars in the 15th century. Church, generally reconstructed in 2009, is except Sunday services of local congregation of Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren often used for concerts of classical music.
