This large hidden park can only be accessed by car by driving over the railroad swing bridge. The park is a converted landfill that is being redeveloped as a natural park for fishing, bird watching and picnicking, all of which totaled $11.5 million. At this time there isn't a lot present yet. There are no picnic tables or benches, just a lot of grassy areas and newly planted trees. A paved walking/bike path meanders around the park and island. It can also be accessed by bike from the swing bridge, just look for the Riverwalk signs along Niagara Street. When I visited, and when I drive past on the I-190, I see plenty of people fishing both in the River and the Canal.

The posted coordinates will take you to the entrance to the park off Niagara Street.
