You can stay here for free however donations are greatly received towards the upkeep of the reserve which is run by a local trust. Majors Creek has a population of 220. I stayed here last Friday night on my way to a Geocaching event at Captains Flat. I sleep in a swag if staying one night, a tent otherwise. There were several caravans & tents as a wedding was being celebrated on Sunday night on the grounds.
The reserve has a large hall, kitchen, refrigeration, water, toilets (no showers), picnic tables, a tennis court, cricket pitch & a children's playground. The pub is within walking distance.
There are no powered sites so you have to be self sufficient in that regard.
The co-ordinates given on the attached website are incorrect - they put you in a farmer's front paddock.
I made a donation as I appreciated the facilities & the friendliness of those staying here as well as one of the Trustee's I met.
