There are two fish ladders located at the hydroelectric power station at the Danube in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The original fish ladder was built in 1953 in the course of the erection of the hydroelectric power station.
In 2010 the SWU decided to replace the fish ladder at the hydropower plant with a near-natural stream and invested a total of around 570 thousand Euro in the environmental protection measure. The new fish ladder extends for the most part under the earth in a near-natural stream.
