This small cemetery holds three graves, the first of which is a child, John Lee Wallace, aged 11 months. Also buried here is John Wallace -- perhaps the child's father? One other grave is here, but we could not tell whose it was.

The rest of the Wallace family members are interred in the other family cemetery on Wallace Mountain. The reason for this cemetery reflects reality on the wild frontier in 1869: Creeks had risen so high that the family could not get to Wallace Mountain to bury their loved ones, so they were laid to rest here, instead.

This cemetery is 8 feet by 12 feet wide -- a bit larger than a ping-pong table.
