"Although there is evidence of a church in Skeffington well before 1213, very little of the church remains. The oldest parts of the present buildings are the NAVE, which is about 12/13th century, and the TOWER of about the same period. The walls supporting the CHANCEL ARCH are reputed to be 14th century and the CHAPEL walls 16th century."
