This relief panel features the Royal Coat of Arms, within an oval cartouche mounted on a relief floral scrollwork panel.
Displayed under the bay window, of the 1907 building, at first floor level, above the front entrance of a Boots Pharmacy.
In 1406–1422 King Henry IV. The first King to use these Arms.
Three Lions on Red background, & Three fleurs-de-lis, on a blue background. Duplicated & Quartered on a shield.
The following Kings & Queens also used this Coat of Arms on their personal Crests;
Henry V, Henry VI, Edward IV, Edward V, Richard III, Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary
In 1558–1603 Queen Elizabeth I - The last Queen of England.
Also restored the arms of King Henry IV.
