Ashland-Framingham Line at Waverly St - U.S. Historic Survey Stones and Monuments on Waymarking.com

This monument is located on the north side of Waverly Street at the town line between Framingham and Ashland. The mark is located only a foot or two from a tall "Entering..." sign (double-sided as to apply for both directions of travel).

It is unclear as to whether the stone was used to mark the original border or if it was placed later, but as Ashland was only incorporated in 1846, the monument is at most that old. The Ashland side is noted by an inscribed "A", while the Framingham side has an inscribed "F".
