This abstract sculpture designed by Kenneth Snelson is composed of 12 chrome steel tubes suspended by a web of steel cables. A triangular base is formed by three upright steel tubes, which is mirrored by three inverted steel tubes. Two sets of 3 horizontal steel tubes are suspended at 10 feet and 15 feet respectively.
This sculpture was funded jointly by the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Buffalo. The sculptor was selected by Mayor Stanley Makowski and the design approved by Mayor James Griffin's Committee for the Arts and Culture.
