In the outer edge of the stage is a metal sculpture with what used to be a Texas Flag and a Mexican Flag.

The seating is long rock benches set into a natural hillside. At the top of the hill is a statue of General Ignacio Zaragoza. Behind the stage is the Presidio and a reconstructed adobe house.

The amphitheater is part of the Goliad State Park. Cinco de Mayo celebrations are held here.
