The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is the second largest government building in the Washington, DC area behind the Pentagon in Virginia. It opened it's doors on May 5th, 1998 and is located along Pennsylvania Ave. Before 9/11 access to the building was relatively easy, but after the horrible events security has been increased and public areas are limited and are hard to go to. Walking around the grounds is free, but there are probably undercover police officers making sure things are going normal wearing normal clothing.
