Author, Architect or Engineer: Chang Chong-jen
In 1989, installed on the side of the National Centre of Comics and Image (now CIBDI) in Angouleme, a large bust of Hergé carved by Chang Chong-jen, his Chinese friend who had inspired The Blue Lotus forty -five years earlier.
In 2003, the pedestrian street of Angouleme is renamed "Hergé street", and on this occasion, the bust is installed in the same street, in the center of the city.

En 1989, est installé sur le côté du Centre national de la Bande Dessinée et de l’Image (maintenant CIBDI) à Angoulême, un grand buste d’Hergé sculpté par Tchang Tchong-jen, son ami chinois qui avait inspiré Le Lotus bleu quarante-cinq ans plus tôt.
En 2003, la rue Piétonne d’Angoulême est rebaptisée "rue Hergé", et à cette occasion, le buste est installé dans cette même rue, en plein centre de la Ville.
