The walkway along Marine Way is a beautiful area to enjoy a pleasant stroll along Okanagan Lake. Featuring sandy beaches, a marina on the east end of the walkway. Also near the walkway is an interesting Xeriscape Demonstration Garden where you can enjoy all the trees and plants most with identifying markers. There is a kiosk with information about the gardens with an explanation of each zone. There are numerous benches and tables available for relaxing and enjoying the views.

The Ikeda Japanese Garden is a beautiful garden featuring traditional trees and flowers, a pond with koi and a unique sculpture. There are several Ishidoro: Japanese Stone Lanterns throughout the garden.
