This peace pole is one of the few peace poles I've come across that actually display the languages of 'May peace prevail on Earth' that exist on the pole. This peace pole also complements a couple of sister City monuments that exist in front of City Hall. Roseburg's sister cities are Shobu-cho Kuki-shi, Japan and Aranda de Duero, Spain, so the Spanish and Japanese languages on the pole make sense.
