This spring is located on the southern boundary of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It has been modified with a PVC pipe for the water to flow from. It flows into a trough and then over the edge into a small pond. It can be reached by parking just past the entrance to the refuge on Highway 115. There is a 2 mile hike along the south boundary road that goes around Quanah Mountain. After crossing Quanah Creek turn north and follow the dry stream bed. It was dry when I went.
Watch for wild Longhorn and Buffalo. This is an active preserve. All hiking must be complete before sunset on the refuge.
