Der Bahnhof Mayschoß wurde im Jahr 1977 zum Haltepunkt mit einem Gleis zurückgebaut. Mittlerweile ist das Gebäude verkauft worden. Es liefen jahrelang Bemühungen, es als Weinmuseum zu nutzen. Seit Juni 2000 wird es als Gaststätte genutzt.
