The Presque Isle Harbor Scenic Overlook is on North Lake Shore Road in Marquette. Many people come to this parking lot to view the Ore Boats coming and going from the Presque Isle Ore Docks.

Watching an ore boat dock isn't something you get to see everyday. You can see huge ore boats up to 1000 feet long taking on iron pellets at Presque Isle and head out into the vastness of Lake Superior. Some of these ships are bigger than the SS Edmund Fitzgerald.
