This tram bridge was build in 1932 and the last tram passed here on januari 4, 1949 towards Leiden. This old tram bridge was only a short time in use and is the only building that still reminds us of the tram line Haarlem - Leiden.
The bridge serves, since the abolition of the line, as a pedestrian bridge.
In 2015 it was compleetly restored and the old function is visible again.
