Autobusové nádraží v Rousínove vidí v soucasné dobe vetšina lidí cestujících vlakem jen na moment. Vlaky v nem totiž témer nezastavují, protože drtivá vetšina lidí využívá autobusy. To by se melo zmenit díky nové zastávce, která bude výrazne blíž centru mesta a bude soucástí chystané vysokorychlostní trati mezi Brnem a Prerovem.
Nádraží vzniklo kousek od námestí na míste, kde stál starší rodinný dum se zahradou. Mesto ho pred tremi lety odkoupilo a nechalo zbourat. Nyní na nem vzniklo osm zastrešených zastávek a menší odbavovací budova.
"Uvnitr budovy je cekárna a sociální zarízení pro cestující. K dispozici by tady meli mít i automaty na teplé nápoje a další obcerstvení," popsala koordinátorka projektu Jitka Coufalová. K nádraží byla vybudována nová komunikace, nechybí ani parkovište pro osobní automobily a stojany na kola.
Rousínovský terminál mohl vzniknout díky zhruba ctyricetimilionové dotaci z Regionálního operacního programu Jihovýchod. Nejvetší merou se na ní podílela Evropská unie, dále stát a dva miliony korun poskytl kraj.

"Inside the building is a waiting room and restrooms for passengers. There would here have vending machines for hot drinks and snacks," explained project coordinator Jitka Coufalová. The station was built a new road, there is also parking for cars and bike racks.
Rousínovský terminal could arise due to some ctyricetimilionové grant from the Regional Operational Programme South-East. Most significantly contributed to the European Union, as well as state and two million crowns provided by the county.
