Located in the mountain pass of the Monashee Mountain Range known for its spectacular views, snow capped mountains and towering trees along the roadway. Near the elevation sign are two rest areas both for east and west bound traffic.
At this location the elevation at the summit is 1241 meters. The Monashee Mountain Range extends into Washington State.
