This site serves as the headquarters for the San Juan Capistrano Historical Society and the O'Neill Museum.
The small plaque at the entrance reads:
"HISTORIC SITE
O'NEILL MUSEUM
BUILT IN THE 1880's, this Victorian
house was one of the town's first
wooden buildings. It was moved from
its original location across the tracks
and about a block south. The building
was restored in 1979."
