Die Schleuse Woltersdorf verbindet die Rüdersdorfer Gewässer mit der Spree. Die früher zur Abwicklung der Transporte aus dem Kalksteintagebauen errichtete Schleuse ermöglicht noch heute den in Rüdersdorf ansässigen Firmen, z.B. dem Zementwerk Transporte von Massengütern auf dem Wasserwege abzuwickeln. Die Schleuse Woltersdorf ist in den Sommermonaten aber auch ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel und wird von Hunderten Wassersportlern genutzt.

The lock Woltersdorf connects the lakes of Rüdersdorf with the River Spree. It was built to handle the transports from the limestone mines of Rüdersdorf companies, eg the cement plant to handle the transport of goods on the waterways.
