Bards Walk is a modern, covered shopping arcade in Stratford-upon-Avon running from Henley Street to Wood Street. At the corner half way through Bards Walk is a brass plaque fixed to the fascia over a service entrance. It reads:
This plaque marks the site of
OSBORNE'S COURT
which comprised eight cottages dating
between 1809 and 1821.
The cottages were converted from an
old malthouse by John Osborne and
his son John, farmers and millers
of Hampton Lucy and Charlecote,
and were demolished in the late 1890s.
There is still a water mill at Charlecote and the miller in early 2014 was Karl Grevatt.
The co-ordinates are for the Arcade entrance off Henley Street and the Wood Street entrance is at N 52 11.568' W 001 42.468'.
