A sundial at the front of the so-called "Frauentor" located in the "Herrenstraße" in "Wangen im Allgäu", Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The striking conclusion of the "Herrenstraße" forms the "Frauentor". When it was built is not known. Presumably it has existed since the city was founded in the 12th century. In documents the gate, which is also called "Ravensburger Tor", is mentioned first 1472. Its present form is received as the Martinstor in 1608 and since then bears the handwriting of the Renaissance. 1988 was last renovated exterior.
The sundial is in perfect condition and the measured sun-time can be checked with the town clock below.
