EN: The water tower on the former switchyard north of the railway station of Saint-Louis today only serves as a huge welcome sign.
It is an octagonal concrete tower with a pyramidal roof and a height of about 30 meters. Unlike the rest of the structures in this abandoned area, the tower is well preserved and looks like receiving some maintenance.
FR: Le château d'eau de l'ancien poste de manœuvre au nord de la gare de Saint-Louis aujourd'hui seulement sert d'un énorme signe de bienvenue.
Il est une tour octogonale en béton avec un toit pyramidal et une hauteur d'environ 30 mètres. Au contraire du reste des structures dans cette zone abandonnée, la tour est bien conservé et ressemble à recevoir un peu d'entretien.
