Location of site: I-70 S. Service Rd, Old US 40, & S. Strack Church Rd., 2 miles E. of Wright City

During the hay day of US 40, this was a nice place to stay. There were four main motels in Wright City area, and they did very well indeed. Not many motels in the county seat (8 miles W. of here), so Wright City got a lot of business.

This place is now very low, one room apartments, the same old motel room now called an apartment.
