On the edge of Queens Park in Maryborough is a couple of plaques commemorating the gallantry of Australian Forces in Korea.

A grey and white marble plinth has a bronze plaque for Australia's involvement, with:

A neighbouring plinth has the following plaque:

Awarded the U.S.A Presidential Citation for their
