This has to be one of our favorite waterfalls in Michigan. It is in unspoiled nature with no boardwalks, and no intrusiveness.
The waterfall is about a 15 foot drop and the falls are in a remote area. There is a path to get back to them, which is pretty easy to follow, but gets slightly muddy at the end. There are some branches you can hop on to get past the tiny bit of mud, and trust me, it's worth it!
It takes about 30 mins or so to get back to this waterfall and the hike is mostly downhill on the way in, which means uphill on the way out.
You need to turn off of M-94 onto Rock River Rd. Follow it to USFS-2276 and turn west. The road is in good condition and a car can make it down here. The road will make a sharp left, and you want to follow the sharp turn.
