Seaside Park was initially established in 1895 and overlooks the Marblehead Harbor, maintained by the Town of Marblehead. Seaside Park was established as a recreation area for the residents of Marblehead. Land was acquired by the town in 1885. In 1916 the town built the existing grandstand.
