São Pedro is a quiet and poor fishing village a few kilometers west of Mindelo, the main town in the island and the second largest in Cape Verde. There is a long beach of about 1,7 km next to the village.
It's wide and wild, the wind is almost always present which makes the place heaven for windsurfers. There is a nearby resort and a couple of guesthouses in the village.
The airport of the island is just two kilometers far.
