EN: The parish barn of Magden is part of an ensemble on a hill north of the village together with the church and the rectory.
It was built in 1759 by the mason Andreas Hüninger on behalf of the monastery Olsberg. The cost was 930 Rhenish guilders and a bushel grain. In 1811-13, the barn was renovated and in 1969 converted into a community hall. In 1994 there were a further renovation and redesign of the interior.
DE: Die Pfarrscheune von Magden bildet zusammen mit der Kirche und dem Pfarrhaus eine Baugruppe auf einem Hügel im Norden des Dorfes.
Sie wurde 1759 von Baumeister Andreas Hüninger im Auftrag des Klosters Olsberg gebaut. Die Kosten waren 930 rheinische Gulden und 3 Viertel Korn. 1811-13 wurde die Scheune renoviert und 1969 zu einem Gemeindesaal umgebaut. 1994 gab es eine weitere Renovation und Umgestaltung der Innenräume.
